Our story
Irish roots, Spanish sun.
Trébol Homes was built for people back home who dream of a place in the sun, but want someone in their corner who actually knows the ground.
The name says it. Trébol is the Spanish word for a clover, the shamrock, our small nod to home. We are an Irish-owned venture and part of the Poloswiss group, the business growth firm founded by the Ring family in Limerick.
We started Trébol Homes because we kept seeing the same thing: Irish people who loved the idea of a home on the Costa del Sol, but felt lost the moment they tried to make it real. A foreign language, an unfamiliar legal process, and a property market with a reputation for hard selling and hidden mark-ups. It should not be that intimidating to buy a place in the sun.
What we believe
We built Trébol to be the opposite of the pushy overseas-property cliché. Three things guide how we work:
- The whole market, not one shop's stock. We search across the coast and bring you what genuinely fits, not just what we happen to hold.
- Straight answers. Plain English, honest pros and cons, and no pressure. If a place is wrong for you, we will say so.
- Still here after the keys. Furnishing, rentals, settling in, we stay in your corner long after the sale.
How we work
Behind the scenes, Trébol combines two things: a modern marketing engine that reaches Irish buyers wherever they are, and a network of trusted specialists on the Costa del Sol who handle the local detail: established agents, expert independent legal teams, and finance partners who arrange non-resident mortgages for buyers who need them. You get the reach and honesty of a fresh, Irish-owned brand, backed by people who have done this on the ground for years.

Colm Ring
Managing Director
Colm runs Trébol day to day, and he does it from the coast itself: he lives in Mijas, on the ground in the market you are buying into. His background is business strategy, operations and commercial development, building systems that actually drive results. The straight answers on this site are his.
Brendan Ring
Founder, Poloswiss Group
Brendan spent 30 years building CUBE, the Limerick print and packaging company, from the ground up, and co-founded Cliona's Foundation, the national charity supporting families of seriously ill children. Trébol carries the same operator's standards: do it properly, price it honestly, stand over it afterwards.
